SCRIPTURES THAT SUPPORT GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION

     HEAR

It is written in the prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.
John 6:45

14How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
17Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the work of Christ.
Romans 10:14,17

Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.
Revelation 1:3

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
James 1:22

      BELIEVE

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6

You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.
James 2:24

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Mark 16:16

I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
John 5:24

Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
John 6:29

I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins.”
John 8:24

They replied, “believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household.”
Acts 16:31

      REPENT

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
II Corinthians 7:10

I tell you that in the same way there is more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
Luke 15:7

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven.  And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord...
Acts 3:19

In the past God over looked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
Acts 17:30

First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and to the Gentiles also, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds.
Acts 26:20

9..yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance.  For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us.
10Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
2 Corinthians 7: 9, 10

    CONFESS

32Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in Heaven.
33But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.
Matthew 10: 32, 33

9That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For it is wih your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Romans 10:9,10

  BE BAPTIZED

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Mark 16:16

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven.  And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38

21...and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also--not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good consciene toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
22who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand--with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.
1 Peter 3:21,22

Our aim is to preach the gospel of Christ to men and women and boys and girls in a manner that they will come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. We strive to be the church in our community that is of service to all. Therefore, our aim is to minister to the needs, cares, and hopes of those we serve. We ask all those that will become members here at Folly Road to believe that we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us, and this can happen if we first give ourselves to our Lord and Master Jesus Christ.
